Peter studied Visual Communications (Graphic Design) in the prestigious Limerick School of Art and Design.
After Graduating with a BA (Honours), Peter returned to his native Galway. It wasn’t long before the boy from the west packed his bags and moved to Dublin.
In 2012, Peter was chosen by ICAD to be part of the annual Upstarts programme, which opened his eyes to a whole new world of possibilities - TV ads! It's here he created his first ad Shadow. Thanks to this he’d caught the attention of some of Ireland’s top Creative Directors. Leading to him to quit his paying job in April 2013 to become an unpaid intern in Publicis Dublin.
On July 4th 2013, Peter received his first advertising award for Shadow. A Bronze ICAD Bell.
In Sept 2013, Peter was snapped up by Brando. Where he worked on accounts such as 48, AA Insurance Ireland, West Coast Cooler, Tiger Beer and GloHealth.
In May 2014, he was on the move again. This time calling DDFH&B ‘home’ (and much worse on some occasions). Here he worked on some of Ireland’s leading brands including Meteor, The National Lottery, Brennans Bread, eir Business and Today FM to name a few. After 2.5 years, Peter moved onto Atomic where he work on brands such as FAI and Audi.
Peter is now currently freelancing and can always make time for a chat.
So that’s Peter…
